# How to Add Academic Assessments to an Athlete?

In EMJOGO, to add academic assessments to an athlete, follow these steps:

1. Access the [Academic Record of the athlete](https://help.emjogo.pt/en/articles/57043-how-to-view-the-academic-record-of-an-athlete);
2. In the "_Assessments_" tab, click on the "**+ Add Assessment**" button to record the school grades that the athlete received during the sports season;
3. In the presented form, fill in the fields such as "_Assessment Period_" and "_Date_", as well as the information related to the school assessment;
4. Finish by clicking the "**Save**" button.

The assessment period must be created in "_Sports Settings_" - Academic.
