# How to Automatically Calculate a Player's Playing Time?

In EMJOGO, to automatically calculate a player's playing time, follow these steps:

1. Access the [page of the match](https://help.emjogo.pt/en/articles/58578-how-to-view-a-match) you want to manage;
2. In the "_Matchday_" section, click the "**Register Event**" button;
3. In the form that appears, choose an event type such as "_Substitution_" or disciplinary action (red card), and then select the "_Player_" and the "_Minute_" when the event occurred;
4. Finish by clicking the "**Save**" button.

After this action, when finalizing the match sheet, in addition to the starting lineup, all match events that influence a player's entry or exit will be counted for the automatic calculation of playing minutes. This information can also be manually adjusted.
