# How to Change the Academic Permission Status of an Athlete?

In EMJOGO, to allow the treatment of academic information for an athlete, follow these steps:

1. Access the [Academic Record of the athlete](https://help.emjogo.pt/en/articles/57043-how-to-view-the-academic-record-of-an-athlete);
2. On the presented page, click on the "**Edit**" button;
3. In the "_School Information_" section, in the "_Permission to manage school information?_" field, choose the option "**Yes**";
4. You can also change the athlete's status (available, alert, unavailable), indicating the athlete's school status to the coaching staff;
5. Finish by clicking the "**Save**" button.

After this action, it will be possible to manage all the academic information of the athlete.
