Creating a Training Unit

Updated over a week ago

In EMJOGO, it is possible to create a Training Unit to detail the work to be carried out in each training session. There are two ways to do this: create a new Training Unit or duplicate an existing one.

To work with Training Units, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Teams" in the administration area in the "Sports Management" section or in the "Sports" tab;

  2. Choose the team you want and click on "View Team";

  3. On the team page, click on "View Training";

  4. Select the training session for which you want to create the training unit;

  5. In the "Planning" tab, in the "Training Unit" section, click on the "Edit Training Unit" button.

To create a new Training Unit, follow these steps:

  • You can register the work to be done in each phase of the training (Initial Phase, Fundamental Phase, Final Phase) through exercises. To do this, add the exercise by clicking the "+ Add Exercise" button under the respective phase.

  • On the presented page, all exercises registered in the Exercise Library will be displayed. You can search for exercises by name, category, orientation, and training regime.

  • Choose the exercise(s) you want by selecting the "Choose Exercise" option and clicking the "Add Selected Exercise(s)" button.

  • After this action, the exercise will be added to the respective phase of the training unit.

  • If you want to add a new exercise not listed on the page, click on the "Create a New Exercise" button. Fill in the exercise information and click "Create Exercise and Add to Training".

  • You can also reorder or drag the exercise to another phase within the training session by clicking (and holding) the arrows on the left side of the exercise.

To copy a training unit, follow these steps:

  • Within the Training Unit Editing page, click on the "Copy a Training Unit" button on the right side. This option is only available if there are no exercises associated with the training yet.

  • On the new page, a list of all scheduled training sessions will be displayed. Choose the training unit you want to copy by clicking on the "View Training Unit to Copy" item in the last column of the table.

  • After this action, click on the "Copy Training Unit" button.

  • The training unit will be copied and associated with the training you are working on.

After performing one of the two presented actions, you can now view the Training Unit on the training session's detail page.

💡 Note

This functionality is only available in the Professional Sports Management Plan.
